Collagen Induction Therapy works in conjunction with the active topical serums. These products are formulated with nanotechnology for deep penetration and have high concentrations of active ingredients for optimal results.
- The skin is cleansed and eventually numbed through an appropriate numbing cream. Should the procedure cover any sensitive areas, local anesthetics may be required.
- The therapy is performed using our DermaPen 3 MD Microneedling device 12 needle head attachment. The entire skin will then be thoroughly micro-needled from 15 to 20 times.
- The needles will then penetrate into the skin’s upper layers to a depth between .25mm-2.5mm, eventually producing many tiny puncture marks. The appearance of even-patterned minute puncture channels following the procedure is an indication that the treatment has been performed effectively.
